Budget and Accounting Analyst James City County. Financial and Management Services is seeking a professional individual to perform experienced budget and accounting work, planning, organizing, analyzing, evaluating, coordinating and preparing the annual budget and financial reports for the County and its fiscal agents. Responsibilities include: assists with the preparation, planning, and publication of the annual budget; Assists with the creation and assembly of the budget manual; reviews and approves contracts and purchases; analyzes and interprets management information including demographic data, facility usage and revenue trends; prepares charts, graphs, and statistical tables to aid in budget presentation; monitors revenues and expenditures throughout the fiscal year; recommends alternative solutions to budget deviations; prepares the JCSA Comprehensive Annual Financial Report (CAFR) and annual financial statements for fiscal agents; coordinates and prepares information for the annual cost allocation; reviews Board minutes for financial transactions and recommends appropriate action; and prepares complex schedules, research, account analysis or other work necessary for preparation of financial statements, ledgers, or reports.

Senior Budget and Accounting Analyst James City County. Financial and Management Services is seeking a professional individual to perform advanced budget and accounting work, planning, organizing, analyzing, evaluating, coordinating, and preparing the annual budget and financial reports for the County and its fiscal agents.
