Buyer Specialist Virginia Department for Aging and Rehabilitative Services. Seeking an individual to serve as Buyer Specialist in our Fiscal Services Division. The incumbent in this position will provide assistance in the development of specifications for the procurement of goods and services; review purchase requisitions for adherence to Commonwealth of Virginia procurement rules and regulations; issue competitive solicitations; work with vendors to obtain information regarding products, services, pricing, shipments, and information on new goods and services; maintain purchase order files for all procurements; lead the bid evaluation process; develops final contract documents; and provide guidance and training on procurement processes and procedures.
